Hi. My name is Miss Kitty. I’m available for adoption thru Gateway Pet Rescue. I'm lucky to live in a foster home now cuz someone in my neighborhood didn't like me. A nice lady used to feed me after I had a litter of kittens. She couldn't find any of my kittens tho. She noticed one day that my front leg wasn't working -- I was kind of dragging it along. She called Gateway and another lady took me to a doctor. They found out that I had a bullet in my leg. They were so good to me -- they tried to save my leg by putting a pin in my leg, but I rejected it. I spent a few nights in the hospital where they tried to splint my leg without the pin, but that didn't work either. Then they removed my leg. All I know is that I knew everybody was trying to help me and I would just love on them to show them how much I appreciated all they were doing for me. I even had a private room in my foster home during my recovery. My foster mom knew when the infection finally went away cuz I became almost a different cat. I was able to jump up on the bed and back down again. I also enjoyed playing again. I get around just as well as the four-legged cat that I live with, I just have a little bit of a hop. My mom quit taking me to the adoptions cuz I didn't like being there and she said that I had already been thru enough. So if you would like to adopt me, you'll have to make special arrangements to see me at my foster home or meet me by appointment.
