Our Dogs are looking for a good human

We have also made arrangements with Dixie Rising to provide a free e-Greeting capability for all of the pictures of our dogs and hope that you will enjoy sending greetings to your friends and family using these lovable dogs.

Also each dog is available for sponsorship while it is waiting for the right family to step forward and offer it a good home. By sponsoring a dog, you have the satisfaction of knowing you have provided for a homeless animal without the responsibility of having to care for it. If you support the goals of Gateway Pet Rescue, we hope that you will consider sponsoring one of these dogs. You will not only receive the Gateway Newsletter but will be notified when the dog has been adopted.

Some of our dogs have been in a foster home for many years. These dogs are still waiting for their forever home. Please don't forget them just because they are older. They still have lots of love to pass along and certainly are deserving of your consideration.

There is also a category of Special Needs dogs. These are the dogs that have severe medical problems and usually are the dogs that are passed over by other organizations. At Gateway, we consider every dog one of God's Creations and assume the burden of caring for these mostly un-adoptable animals. Many of these are in need of special sponsors for medical items.
