Gateway Pet Rescue

Our Adopted Dogs

All of these dogs have been lucky enough to find permanent homes. Sometimes tho,  things may not work out and these pets might get returned to Gateway. Should these fine pets become available again, we will post them on our other pages. Finding permanent, loving homes is what makes fostering these dogs all worthwhile. They have all gone from being unwanted pets, to being cared for and loved as one of our own in our foster homes, and then on to becoming the #1 dog in someone's life -- maybe yours!

Another Gateway Success, both puppies have been adopted

These puppies were born around October 20 and are just now ready for adoption. We believe they are a Spaniel mix.

Another Gateway Success, Boy Puppy #1 has been adopted

"Boy Puppy #1" was born around Feb. 11, 2005, along with eight littermates. The mother is believed to be a Farm Collie weighing approximately 40-45 pounds. We don't know what the dad was, but we're guessing these pups to weigh about the same as their mother.

Another Gateway Success, Boy Puppy #2 has been adopted

"Boy Puppy #2" was born around Feb. 11, 2005, along with eight littermates. The mother is believed to be a Farm Collie weighing approximately 40-45 pounds. We don't know what the dad was, but we're guessing these pups to weigh about the same as their mother. This puppy is extremely cuddly!

Another Gateway Success, Girl Puppy has been adopted

"Girl Puppy" was born around Feb. 11, 2005, along with eight littermates. The mother is believed to be a Farm Collie weighing approximately 40-45 pounds. We don't know what the dad was, but we're guessing these pups to weigh about the same as their mother.

Another Gateway Success, Puppy has been adopted

"Puppy" is ready for adoption. This sweet little girl is one of a litter of six. Momma is a black and tan mixed breed and the puppies look to some sort of Jack Russell Terrier mix (possibly).

Another Gateway Success, Abba has been adopted

"Abba" is a beautiful White German Shepherd/Retriever mix. Her birthday is May 2001. She is spayed. Her previous owner meant well, but they simply tossed food on the ground and pavement. This eating from hard surfaces has worn down her middle top and bottom teeth. This does not seem to bother her tho. She gets along well with cats, other dogs and loves to ride! She is completely housebroken. (#3005)

Another Gateway Success, Amber has been adopted

"Amber" is a 55 pound spayed female. Accustomed to living in a multi-dog household. Housebroken, but does not get along with cats and should be adopted by a cat- free home. (#1161/#968)

Another Gateway Success, Annie has been adopted

"Annie" is a spayed Lab mix. She, Lucy and Joe are littermates. Annie is black with brown high-lights, white chest and feet. She was born January 2001. (#2197)

Another Gateway Success, Beau has been adopted

"Beau" is a mix -- possibly Shepherd? His birthday is around January 7, 2002. He is a real cutie with sable coloring and white chest and socks. He is neutered and good with other dogs. (#2588)

Another Gateway Success, Bert has been adopted

"Bert" was a 1 year old neutered male black lab mix. Very outgoing and friendly. Likes dogs, cats and kids.

Another Gateway Success, Bobby has been adopted

"Bobby" has Rottweiler markings but doesn't have the size so is mixed with something else. He was born August 3, 2002. (#2998)

Another Gateway Success, Bonnie has been adopted

"Bonnie" was born in October of 2000. She is possibly a Golden Lab mix. She is shy but very friendly once she gets to know you. Big dogs scare her, but she is fine with small dogs and cats. (#3260)
