Another Gateway Success, Chase has been adopted

"Chase" was born about mid October 2004. He is a Golden Retriever mix. Chase is gentle, reserved, quiet and very sensitive. Gets along great with other dogs but has not yet been exposed to cats. He enjoys playing fetch with tennis balls and playing in the creek.  Would be great with children who are gentle with him due to his sensitivity. Travels best with a small dose of Benadryl (to prevent car-sickness) but may outgrow this. Chase is in the process of being housetrained and has not had an accident for several days. If you pay attention to him, he will let you know when he needs to go out.

Another Gateway Success, Cooney has been adopted

"Cooney" is another of the Tibetan Spaniel puppies now ready for adoption. This cute little boy is one of a litter of five. Momma is a Tibetan Spaniel and just as sweet as she can be.

Another Gateway Success, Daisy & Doe have been adopted

"Daisy & Doe" are Feist mix. They have always been together and we would like to see them get adopted together. They are approximately two years old and sweet as can be.

Another Gateway Success, Danny has been adopted

"Danny" was a Boxer mix, neutered male. He was born to a white Boxer in one of our foster homes. He is very shy with strangers but very loving once he gets to know you.

Another Gateway Success, Deacon has been adopted

"Deacon" is a big bundle of fur - approximately 90 pounds of fur! He was born June 2002. He is a Rottweiler/Shepherd and maybe Husky mix. He is sweet and gentle and gets along great with other dogs. He loves to go for long walks in the woods and he loves to be loved! (#2874) 

Another Gateway Success, Dixie has been adopted

"Dixie" is a Black Lab mix with a touch of white on her chest. We believe she was born September of 2003. She is shy at first, but will come around. (#3307)

Another Gateway Success, Dolly has been adopted

"Dolly" is possibly a Carolina Dog (aka Dixie Dingo) mix. She is already spayed. She has a very sweet personality but is terribly shy with strangers. She will come around with your patience.  (#2689)

Another Gateway Success, Emily has been adopted

"Emily" is a Hound-mix born August 3, 2002. Emily is black with tan markings and has short legs. She is a little shy, but VERY lovable. Emily is fine around other dogs and very gentle. (#2995)

Another Gateway Success, Ernie has been adopted

"Ernie" was a 1 year old neutered male. A Shepard mix. Very friendly. likes dogs, cats, children Will make a very good pet.

Another Gateway Success, Fabio has been adopted

"Fabio" is a Fiest/Lab mix with a mostly white body with black spots and black head. He and his littermates, Prince and Queenie, were born approximately June or July 2002. He is good with other dogs and cats. (#3011)

Another Gateway Success, Freckles has been adopted

"Freckles" was a two year old spayed female. Golden Lab or possibly Carolina Dog (Dixie Dingo) and either Shar-Pei or Chow mix. Freckles, Goldie and Porky (below) are littermates. Very affectionate,  active and can jump up to your waist or higher. With training, could make a great "Frizbee" dog. Runs like a jack rabbit. (#2418)

Another Gateway Success, Fred has been adopted

"Fred" a year and half old Chow mix. Fred gets alone very well with other dogs, cats and children.

Another Gateway Success, Goldie has been adopted

"Goldie" is a four year old spayed female. Golden Lab or possibly Carolina Dog (Dixie Dingo)  and either Shar-Pei or Chow mix. Very affectionate, but Goldie is one of our Special Needs dog as she has "hip dysplasia". (#2417)

Another Gateway Success, Gordon has been adopted

"(John B.) Gordon" neutered male. Named after the Confederate General. Lives with his littermate, (Nathan Bedford) Forrest. Has a scar around his neck from where a collar was too small. Very affectionate and great watch dog. (#2537)

Another Gateway Success, Hans Solo has been adopted

"Hans Solo" is a Border Collie/German Shepherd mix. He is 2 years old and neutered. He is a sweetheart, loves everybody and always has a big tail wag for whoever pays attention to him.
