Our Female Dogs, page 2

If you see a dog that you would like to visit at a Pet Adoption please use the contact form so that we can be sure that it is at the Pet Adoption that you would like to attend. Or if you would like to sponsor one of these dogs, each picture has a signup form. For every dog sponsored we are able to take in another homeless dog in need of assistance.

"Gypsy" is a spayed Hound mix. She is approximately 3 years old. She was found after being shot in the back and hip. The bullet and buck shot were removed and she has been doing fine. Very shy, especially around men, but will come around with some love and attention.

"Roxann" is a black with white and tan Hound-mix. She was born August 2002. She has "hip dysplasia" and is responding well to daily medication. Roxann and her siblings were found in a cardboard box along the side of the road at Blue Ridge dam. They were hungry, wet and covered with fleas. These puppies were dumped and left to die! She is now a big, beautiful dog. And quite spoiled! Roxann is shy until she gets to know you. (#3016)

"Lucy" is a spayed Black Lab mix with possibly some Corgi due to her short legs. She sometimes gets food aggressive with her brother, Joe. She was born January 2001. She tested positive with heartworm in 2004 but has been on treatment and is doing fine. Gateway will adopt Lucy out with remaining heartworm medication to finish her treatment and pay expense of another heartworm test. She has been doing fine and is ready for adoption.
